New year New start
As it is about to be the beginning of a brand new fresh year I am making a resolution to keep my blog updated and create a whole host of new files using my make the cut software for my silhouette and other machines. I hope that all my followers will enjoy the new files and my creations that I intend to upload in the coming year. Happy new year to all and I'm looking forward to lots more crafting, especially scrapbooking over the next coming year.
Bye for now.

One of my 9 year Old Daughters Birthday cards
Hi everybody.
Again I am completely in love with these ruffles on the bottom of cards and thought I would share another card with you that I have created using them. It is very different from the previous card I made and I just love how it turned out. You can find the link to the blog that has the ruffles below.
I used my Silhouette and some October Afternoon papers for the heart and rose. The stamp is from the American Crafts birthday collection. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Birthday Card
My Daughter is going to her friends birthday party tomorrow and I needed to get a card put together for her to take. The party is pirate themed so I made the card to fit in with the help of some ruffles that I found on Kiki creates blog. I think that it turned out really cute and I will be using these ruffles much more often. You can find and download them here.

My Latest Purchase and First Card.
Hi Everybody.
I am not sure how many of you have heard of Kristina Werner, but she is a massive inspiration to me as a crafter. She creates cards and tutorial videos weekly and her ideas are just fantastic. This week I was watching her new episode of Focus Friday that she had posted on You Tube and she recommended a book. It is called Folding Ideas for Cards and Envelopes. I loved the look of the Book and also the card that Kristina made with the template and so decided to buy the book for inspiration.
After reading a couple of reviews I was weary as although Kristina loved it the reviews were not the best. Inside you get a cd with all the templates of the cards and folds in pdf format. To my delight I was able to import the templates into make the cut no problem and cut my card shapes from there, no measuring and fussing with craft knives yippee.
This is the first card I have made using the template from the book.
My Craft Room
Just thought I would post some piccies of my craft space as it is kind of clean at the minute and everybody has been adding there spaces to their blogs. Hope you like it x

Greeting Card using Forever Friends retro collection
I thought that I would share this card that I made this afternoon for my mums colleague in work. He loves fishing and has just turned 65 so the Forever friends retro cd for men was a wonderful inspiration for me. This cd along with a sketch from Sketch and stash has enabled me to create this really cute card. I think that it turned out really well.
This is the easel card top. I followed the Sketch and stash sketch for this card, The backing papers and the decoupage are bothe from the retro collection.
here is a close up of the Decoupage from the FF retro collection. There are lots of layers but the outcome is so cute.
This is the base of the easel card. I used the Cricut Hannah Montana Cartridge for the font and then cut a fish from Crafters Companion Male hobbies collection to complete the base.
I hope you like it.

30th Birthday Easel Card
Hi Everybody. I am am back to blogging after a week in North Wales in a caravan with my mum, sister and our children. It was a very busy and fun week, but I have to admit I am glad to be back crafting again. I have been asked to create a 30th Birthday card for a friends daughter in law and this is what I came up with. I would love to hear what you think. I am also using this as my entry into the Papertake weekly challenge as this weeek is to create flowers from scratch. I used my cricut and the Cricut Flower Shoppe Cartridge to create the Paper Roses for the card.
I used Silhouette Studio and a font I had downloaded for the name and Number on the Card
Here are the roses created with the Cricut Flower Shoppe Cartridge I think that they are really beautiful and add dimension to the card
The Ballerina and Butterflies are both files from the Silhouette Library that I have.
The Completed Card.

Truly scrumptious and Less is More Challenge card
I have not been on my blog for quite some time and I seem to have lost my inspiration. I am not sure why this happened but I think It is since our home was broken into a couple of months ago. Since then I have not really had the motivation to do much of anything. I am now making a determined effort at updating my blog and taking part in challenges and I really enjoyed making this card. I am looking forward to taking part in more challenges I find browsing through the blogosphere.
I designed the shape of my card in Silhouette studio. It measures 5 3/4 x5 3/4 perfect for putting in a 6x6 envelope. I used some papers I have had for quite some time for the inset shadow and then a Gorjuss girl stamp that I have had for years and never used. I think along with my ribbons flowers and buttons it turned out so cute.

My most Recent cards
Here are some of the cards that I have made over the past few months. I hope that you like them and any feedback would be appreciated.
These paper roses are handmade using an 8 petal flower cut from my Silhouette Studio Library. I followed a video by Stephanie Weightman and I think they turned out really well. The Video can be found here.
These are two Football Fathers Day cards that I created this year. I used My Craft Studio to create the backing papers and Silhouette Studio for the Shield and Stars. I used the Print and Cut feature of the machine to make sure my text was perfect in the centre of the Shield.
This is a 3d word created for my daughter using the 3d Alphabet kit from SVG Cuts. I love there files and this was so much fun to create. You can get more information and view videos about this kit here.
Been Away for quite some time
Hello Everybody,
As it is the summer Holidays I have decided that I am going to make a determined effort to get some cards made, and keep my blog updated. I have not posted since March and have really missed keeping up to date and taking parts in challenges etc. I hope to be around so much more often and post some more card designs and Make the Cut files too.
Also I will be back with some cards I have created over the past couple of months that I have been away.

Another Mothers Day Card
Here is another Mothers Day Card that I put together yesterday. I used a graphic that I found on the Internet and My Craft Studio to make it into a Decoupage sheet. I think it is simple to do but looks really sweet.

Mothers Day Cards
I just thought that I would share with you a couple of mothers day cards that I have been working on. I created the frame for the Photocard using my gypsy and Cricut Expression. The second cards was created using Cardio stamps for the surround and then My Craft Studio to create the decoupage image for the middle. This is not my usual style but I am really pleased with the outcome.

Some cards I have made in the past few Months.
Here are some pictures of the cards I have made over the past couple of months using my cricut, Make the cut and also my cartridges. Another product I like to use is My craft studio. It is a really great tool for crafters to make Decoupage sheets and Backing papers of any image you could possibly need. If there is an image available on the Internet then it can be made into a card using this program, it really is the bees knees.
Been away for quite some time,
For the past few months I really seem to have lost my creativeness. I have so much stuff that I don't know where to start and I seem to just want to buy more rather than actually make something. I've been making cards for orders but even those have really struggled with and had no ideas whatsoever. This weekend I decided enough was enough and I was to get back to blogging, making my files and also making my cards. I spent yesterday redesigning my craft room walls and have attached some pictures below. I hope you like it. It has brightened my room up so much for the spring.
I used the cricut storybook Cartridge for my font and the Cricut Straight from the nest Cartridge for my butterflies. I am still working on the opposite side of the wall and will upload my pictures of this as soon as it is finished. Friday, 14 January 2011
