Summer time is finally here.

Hello Blog world well Summer has finally arrived and I am trying to get back to blogging my cards as it has been such a long time since I have. I have posted some piccies of my creations that I have made recently and I am determined that I will keep blogging and get some more projects uploaded. I have just finished making some vinyl to jazz up my kitchen cupboards. I used the Cricut Artiste cartridge and From my kitchen to create a nice transfer to make my cupboards a bit less boring. I will share those piccies with you when I take them but for now have a peek at my cards from the past couple of months.

I hope that you like them My favourite is the Dad card made using the Cricut Art Deco cartridge. I really like how it turned out.

90th Birthday Card

Well it has taken me till the beginning of February to actually get my camera and take some pictures of my latest creations I have a number of items to share with you but I will show you my card that I finished making this morning first.

It is for an order for a friend for her Aunties birthday. I took some inspiration from an article in quick cards made easy about matting and layering and using a doily or scallop in the matting. I used my Silhouette to create the butterflies, docrafts digital designer for the image and My Craft studio for the template.

I think that it turned out really pretty. I would also like to use this card as my entry to the My time to craft Challenge for this week. The title is A is for adorable and I think the image used on this card fits perfectly x

Not the ideal way to start the New Year

I am trying to stick to uploading my creations when I make them. Unfortunately the first card I am uploading is a sympathy card. Not the best way to begin the year, but I needed a card and here it is. I used my silhouette to cut the lily flourish and the with sympathy sentiment added some ribbon and pearls after inking the edges of my card and paper pieces. I think it turned out pretty nice. I don't know where the camera is so I have taken this picture with my ipad and it's not the best picture but you can get an idea of what the card looks like, and I will have a record of what it looked like if I need to make another sympathy card as I really struggle making them.
